The Reserve Bank and the Treasurer should act immediately and act responsibly in the wake of the US banking disasters. Dr. Martin Weiss in his receent analysis has quite correctly predicted that Bank of America will feel the consequences of having swallowed Merril Lynch in its current state. The others that will collpse under the strain of a system gone so horribly wrong has lessons for us all here. And you guessed it right, the people who should be asking questions and demanding answers are silent.
Parliament should now demand direct answers from our banks begining with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia who has never been named or mentioned in a poor light previously.
A young Asian trader within the bank quit after earning his multi million dollar bonuses earlier this year because of the writing on the wall and poor management of the bank. The spin was different.
The CBA carries proportionately as much sh#t as Lehmans did. Costello was behind the madness because it was decided that for popularity sake lending should be the key mantra of a liberal government. its gone terribly wrong and our banking system which is a closed shop is keeping quiet. So we will begin our campaigns against each of them now till they come clean. Not with spins but with the truth.
How much of B&B debt is the CBA holding? whats the relationship with B&B and the CBA?
