It looks like the imitation NBN will need to begin upgrading from FTTN to FTTH immediately to stay competitive.
Do the job once, and then do it again because it is already out of date prior to the build even starting.
The up to speed of the FTTN is going to be a major obstical to the NBN Co's financial well being.
P.S. I came across an article which mentioned the "fibre-on-demand product" you were talking about. Though I haven't had a chance to look at it as yet.
