Scarborough Minerals plc ("Scarborough") refers to its announcement earlier
today of discussions in relation to a possible merger with Mineral Securities
Limited ("Minsec"). Depending on how the proposed transaction is structured, the
Company cannot confirm the eligibility of the combined group for primary listing
on the Official List of the UKLA. Should this be the case, an alternative UK
quotation will be sought.
