A "boots on the ground report from" cowboy cabbie" on yahoo.....

. . not mine, but my mother's boots! She drove over to have a look at Samson's progress today.

Defender is pumping and flaring. Apparently the pump runs much faster than the ones that have been used earlier. Presumably Samson is using a different pump design to deal with the gas and sand. Why that requires it to run faster, I have no idea, but given their poor experience with earlier pump systems, I'm just glad to see an obvious change.

There is new dirt work in progress at Spirit of America, along with six new storage tanks. I don't know what size they are, but mom told me they are vertical, round tanks.
