If WD is 560m, then that will obviously add a bit more time to the operation. As I said, running riser is pretty slow going. If 560m is the case, They should be drilling again by tonight I would guess.
Hole sections from here on in will go 12.25", 8.5" and then the 6" hole. In most wells around Oz, usually only 12.25" or 8.5" hole is required. In our case, due to the target depth and some possibly abnormally pressured units above the reservoir, an extra casing string is required. The 6" hole will start just above the target zone I think.
They will drill as fast as they can at all times. Slow drilling occurs for a number of reasons, including poor bit selection, hard zones, sticky zones where the bit becomes balled up and just general bit fatigue. There's probably other reasons I can't think of at the moment.
