    Hi Tanon, if you are referring to the news article about the Japanese extracting gas from methane hydrate, I wouldn't worry too much about that. There are huge deposits all around the world, the main problem is how to collect it as it is usually in a layer on the sea bed or under permafrost.
    I don't think there is a world glut of gas supplies yet; I think that China in particular will be looking to develop gas to replace the coal fired power stations contributing to their smog; and the UK will be very keen because they are not in a good place economically, and they can see what gas has done for the US. All good for DTE. There is so much negative sentiment at the moment in Australia, "Gasland" has been swallowed hook line and sinker, and politicians are keener to look after their own seats than to look at the greater good of well managed gas production. We might have to wait until after the election when the pollies (of whatever persuasion) have a few years of safety when they might start considering the economic benefits again.
