Here's a conspiracy theory for you on a Tuesday afternoon.
A whole bunch of investment "professionals" completely got the Lithium market wrong with their Li oversupply bubble talk. Having missed the first run, they're now doing what they can to make up for it. Work together to short the living bejesus out of GXY and others, drive the price down as far as they can, make as much short money as they can, then jump back in, talk it back up, ride the wave up, dilute their holdings along they way... then try to rinse 'n' repeat.
