That is so not going to happen. There will be another excuse.
If you produce something for a customer and that customer asks you to stock because they're doind some upgrade, the customer should still pay you for it (and probably storage fee) because you produced it.
If this was the case, shipping would not matter.
But that's not what's happening here. It doesn't make any business sense. I don't believe the explanation management gave us.
