This is the part where investors become confused... Not all tonnes are equal...
Also if Orocobre produce around 11,500 tonnes annum.. Remember that their ownership of that is 66% which works out to be 7,600 tonnes.
The equivalent for Galaxy is around 65,000 tonnes of concentrate/spodumene.
The equivalent for MIN DSO from what I can work out is 600,000 tonnes. - Maybe...and they claim they are doing this each month..
Orocobre's 7,500 tonne is worth around AU$100 to AU$120 million. Based on US$10k to US$13K per tonne... (provided they get the quality right)
Galaxy's 65,000 tonnes is worth around AU$71 million plus.. Based on US$830 per tonne. - So considering Galaxy have a contract for 120,000 and Mt Cattlin is operating at 160,000 which is 150% more.
And MIN DSO I have been told some pretty low figures... DSO is the new acronym for desperate.
But yes... It is surprising that Galaxy's market cap is that much lower than Orocobre.
