To my understanding,
GRT - Gross Registered Tonnage (Product)
Deadweight - Unladen ship weight (Tonnage)
This should allow the ships cargo weight to be 8963 T
If correct, you would expect it to read;
Deadweight - 10,536T
GRT - 19,499T
Same as on road transport vehicles.
Tare Weight - Unladen Vehicle
GVM - Gross Vehicle Mass (Maximum Laden Vehicle Weight)
Assuming they work like that
