Time for the North West of the country to be aware of a developing low pressure system north of the NT again.

Below we have the GFS ensemble forecast thanks to Tropicaltidbits.com. It shows a fairly tight consensus at this early stage and the EC model is fairly similar. Currently a weak low pressure system north of the Top End will drift west to south west and develop slowly. During the weekend this development is expected to increase. Nitso will have more information on thi...s system in its early stages in his subscriber updates, and we will keep everyone updated here as well in the coming days.

It’s important to realise that a projected path as shown below can put a large part of the coast at risk even though it shows a Pilbara impact. Small changes in track can dramatically change future impacts.
