I'm starting a new thread as I'm currently getting bored of the SPP chat.
I took up the options this morning and as I'm content with my choice - I'm interested in what the next steps are.
Firstly, I was doing some reading over the weekend around DCC's recent patent "Air ID". For my mind this is huge as they are not just trying to patent a method or product. This is a whole industry.... ponder that for a second.
By storing transaction history on the blockchain as they explain it could build up the users credit history. Meaning that P2P lending becomes a real opportunity. I doubt there would be many lenders (Business or peer) that would not be interested in this.
In saying that I'm not entirely confident that this can be patented - from my limited knowledge of dealing with patents you must prove that your concept has a point of difference. i.e. has a unique concept that is patentable. Obviously the blockchain cannot be patented but the methodology could be.
I found this company that I believe is doing somewhat of a similar concept already - maybe someone can explain the difference? As far as I can tell the difference is that we have incorporated KYC verification.

Actually it seems that there is a lot of interest in this space which reiterates how big of a play this patent is but also I would think that this would be very hard to actually get granted as explained above.
Secondly, Marketing Ramp up - so we are nearing a release of a proper remittance app ("early 2017"). With the global partners in place ("specifically uni tellers infrastructure in Q1 2017") I would think that the money that is being raised should have a significant impact on downloads and share price. The conversion rate as of September was around $3.50 with wider channels available to us over the next year then this could be significantly reduced again and I believe this is a big factor when you start to look at growth of the company.
Anyway opening up the floor - for my mind I have two key reasons I'm investing.
1. The problem they are solving is universal - it is providing solutions for a whole government all the way to a farmer in Uganda.
2. They are also the only company (from my research) that is heavily investing in blockchain as their core product. If blockchain does revolutionize industries as i expect it will then I am exposed correctly.
