Bullsroar, you suggest it is being pushed around. I agree. A strange occurrence just happened in Frankfurt. The market there opens 8AM (3PM Perth time) and at 8:15AM there was a price fixing at 33.9E (51 cents) significantly down on the Wednesday close at 37.9E (57 cents) and, notwithstanding there being no volume attached to that trade, that price is shown as the low for the day. Looked like someone was trying to drag the stock down in order to get in at a lower price. It didn't work as the bid:ask is now 37E:38E (56c:57c). A similarly strange thing happened on the ASX today when 4599 shares were traded at 53 cents after the immediately preceding trades were at 56 cents only to have the price bounce back to 56 cents at the close. If you suspect "overseas control" then I suggest Frankfurt could be a key player.
