I actually don't find it that obscure. In fact it makes total sense and I prefer it to Zip being pigeon-holed like AfterPay which is all fashion or cosmetics etc.
The more Zip moves into the "necessities" space the better.
It's the same thing with orthodontics, podiatrist etc. anything with a reasonably substantial one-off bill, offering Zip makes perfect sense. You can get the money up front and your customers pay it off on their own time.
