I think buying around these prices is great. This degree of oil price drop is not sustainable in the medium to long-term unless alternative energy for transport is available and can be widely implemented within the next few years. This has put excessive downward pressure on the share price, far more than is warranted, and gives potential life-changing gains over the medium-long term. Many other stocks at crazy prices also and I can't begin to speculate which is the biggest bargain - that is also partly a matter of which area becomes fashionable in the next 12-24 months.
