I am interested to see the effect if any the QGC takeover bid will have on the coal seam sector. Any news that sheds light on ESG in this market is good news.
I feel ESG is trading well below the price it deserves to be trading at. And quickly snapped up as much as possible on friday anticipating something significant with QGC. Hopefully a reserve upgrade annoucement is made towards the backend of this horrible market. I would not like to see good news wasted in weeks like we have seen recently, ie a significate spike in the share price only to see it retreat twice as far the following days.
Does anyone know how hilgrove resources are going with cash flow and funding the katmando project. I fear with tight money lending they might be looking to sell off their ESG stake (i think around 26%?). With such a significant stake i would think they would be looking for an off-market sale.
Thoughts?
