Happens all the time. I try to ignore the buy/sell side volumes and concentrate on the intra day chart. The volumes in the end are meaningless. If you were watching the buy side prior to close you would have sworn it would have closed at 1.195. It didn't because the Friday scares set in. No big deal but shows you that there is heaps of volume lurking off market.
If I was really asked to put my view on the table I think this will retest 1.05 over coming days and then rebound past 1.20. Why? Because profit taking will set in; particularly if the Dow closes red tonight. But short covering will hit about that area creating support. It is difficult to use the chart at present as it is a short covering mess. It is just dripping with the blood of shorters from 76 cents....
