The 0.5c isn't necessarily a problem. If they want make it look psychologically nicer, they can always do a consolidation to (temporarily) get a higher SP. In fact, with the number of shares on offer, they probably will need this at some point anyway.
Or they could try going into debt again, but we all know how that one worked out...
The real problem is that they actually need something definite to raise cash for (other than wages). So far, there's nothing certain (or even likely) on the horizon, and nothing's going to change until there is
