I don't think you need to be that radical mate.....
Just need to show them the value of money and how hard is to make a decent money for a good life style....
They need to understand savings since they are very little....and they need to work when young for the odd pocket money to understand the values of family and money making..... it's very simple....
The key when they are doing it well is the rewards....and yes....economic rewards is not a bad idea....but they need to perform first....
It's nothing drastic mate....very straight forward......
