"the general market is not helping any equity class atm" had a look at the finance sector over this past 12 months yellowcake? The greedy banks are so inflated that we now have the 3rd largest financial sector by market capitalisation in the world behind the US and China. That statistic is so ridiculously disproportionate I fear the worst for the OZ housing sector over the coming years. I'd rather hold IVR and silver bullion than speculate on Aussie real estate or buy the banks for that matter. With all the layoffs this year 2013 looks like it could be dire.
