After KAT'S post I am just wondering if I understand what the procedure for yank buyers is.
My take on it. test case scenario
Joe Blow in NY contacts Deutsche bank to buy him 3M aus shares in PRR at 30c.
Deutsche bank contacts BNYM to say the have a buyer for 3M aus shares at 30c to be converted to 100,000 adr's worth $9ea on the Nasdaq exchange.
BNYM then place a buy order on ASX for 3M at 30c.
before I say any more am I on the right track here?
