I dunno Blackgold . Oil may drop to $50 or less over the s/t but until infrastructure is built to ensure adequate supply with respect to demand, energy costs and therefore energy stocks will rise. imho and unless proven reserves worldwide are shown to be 50 to 100 yrs worth, soon there will be spikes (over the coming years) over concerns of future supplies being able to be met. id say high oil prices are here to stay and in general people will do things to be more efficient or travel less etc but that wont bring dwn the price of oil much
