"Chatree is being subjected to false claims being made by a small group of anti-mining individuals led by a disaffected former employee whose many previous claims against Chatree have proven to be false."
That "disaffected former employee" is Ms Suekanya Theerachatdamrong Described as a "Local Leader" in the Bangkok post reports.

According to a previous KCN release, Ms Theerachatdamrong purchased land in the mine surrounds and tried unsuccessfully to sell it at inflated prices to the mine.
