I was having a beer with Mr. Musangu Muzaza First Secretary – Education, Zambia High Commission, on Friday night. Different continent I realise, but African nations are in front of the game in talks with large project investments internationally. Zambia is also gearing up their current copper investments with Chinese wanting to back larger projects. Interesting thing is that the African nations with minerals are all in talks with Middle East partners as well, with demand for copper expected to outstrip supply. Expect more interest in Omani copper.
