The ROP seems pretty fast as we approach the first target, the Upper Ismay, in the Honaker Trail formation, around the 9900' mark.
The plan of action here onwards should b on these lines,
1) Drill 12.25" hole to 9900' 2) R/I 9" casing & cement this section 3) Drill 8.5" hole from 10000' onwards
I anticipate the gas readings on the chromatograph to pick up, saw 300 units at PB-1, so expect something similar here.
BTW, the U-I was tested at PB1 & flowed 1.168 mmcfd from a 35' interval over a 24 hour period @ 510psi pressure. So the gas should b there in that section.
Lastly PB-2 is drilled about 1.6km South of PB-1 at a high on the GE structure, so I dont expect much difference in the presence of gas.
Only concern, I have, is the proximity to the fault as we get deeper, hope we dont get huge mud-losses downhole.
In the meantime safe drilling & look fwd to the Upper Ismay nxt week. Have a good w'end all.
cheers
