Up I think; you see it appears, and below is an example, there are many preditions that institos and small investors feel as though they have missed out on the market, and want in. While instito's etc are IMO unlikely to jump on CXY at short notice, asusming (!) the general market trends up, then small caps such as CXY will follow - in fact historically when the market recovers they spike very quickly. We may be reaching that stage.
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- With a much better-than-expected jobs report under its belt, the market might forge ahead next week, a fairly light one in terms of economic and corporate news.
There are enough investors out there that do feel they have missed the market's rally since early March," said Michael Sheldon, chief market strategist at RDM Financial.
"The quarter end is approaching and funds are having to show how well they've done to their shareholders," he said. "I wouldn't be surprised to see it continue over the next couple of weeks."
On Friday, news that the U.S. economy lost fewer jobs than expected in May failed to provide much of a boost to a market apparently satiated with economic news that has turned out to be less bad than originally feared.
Payrolls fell 345,000, much less than the 500,000 expected by economists surveyed by MarketWatch, but the jobless rate still rose to 9.4%, a 26-year high. See full story.
