I noticed before that you wrote that CCP “had made no new acquisitions”, and I was uncertain what acquisitions you meant – PDLs, or other companies. If you meant acquisitions of other companies, then as an investor, I am happy about that, because acquisitions have a habit of going wrong (witness TGA's acquisition of NCML, and many other examples). Obviously, CCP has acquired PDLs, and the upgraded PDL-acquisition metrics supplied suggests all is progressing swimmingly on that front.
I wonder if CCP will follow TGA and exit the personal loan business completely, rather than only the small end of it, the SACC loans? Treasury is not going to be happy if the business is abandoned to only Z-grade lenders.
