I have not heard it anywhere but the MOU with GBG was signed on the 6th. May while the Funding Support announcement was on the 25th. August.
EPA Victoria promised over $700,000 but the total estimated cost is $2.85 million. If GBG doesn't get more support it is looking at over $2 million for proving the project. Perhaps, because of the time delay from August to now, GBG is willing to continue to dump and pay the dumping fee rather than outlay the cash. It has dumped in the past so why change now?
Also, if GBG is looking for a loan from a bank it is more than likely whistling in the wind.
