I agree, given the area is not off limits to the public, they must have been doing what they could without crossing the line.
Of course nothing is certain, but given what is already known, its not hard to imagine what may lie north of the Gonneville intrusion - which wont be restricted by a farmers fence erected millions of years later. Its easy to see why the team are excited.
