Wednesday: 2,073,107 shorts
Overall Short Positions increased from 34,104,000 to 34,192,000 meaning a net increase of 88,000 shorts, indicating a circa 2,000,000 short positions were closed right?
Likely the shorts/ Total shares will increase above the 10% mark as Friday and yesterday do not look great.
Albeit, any good news could see these guys wiped out.
