I think there might be a significant short exit going on today.
60c jump on modest volume after SP near 10 month low. Could be some short sellers have decided that is a decent innings and to escape before any good news hits the market.
The jump may also trigger a stop loss for some who got in more recently which would compound the issue.
Shorting this stock is a risky deal in my view. There is so much upside risk that can drop very quickly if a big contract is announced.
