Sean and the rest of the NBT many thanks for all your efforts to date.
While the outcome is not what we expected, for me and I'm sure the rest of the other smaller shareholders not in a position to take on the might of the enemy, we are hugely indebted to you.
It's unfortunate that we have a system where those that were entrusted with our finances were negligent and incompetent. There was some back luck at key times but those stewards did us no favours right to the end when they were more than happy to recommend a 2c bid and never gave us any indication that we had received an offer nearly 3 times that amount not that much earlier. And what is worse is that they keep their millions and will continue to make more at their new owner while we've been shafted!
I have stopped investing on the sharemarket because I'm sick of this sh!t. If I had of invested all the money I had in the stockmarket in property instead I would have been well and truly retired by now.
What is disappointing is that administrators have now worked around the laws to shut out shareholders altogether. As far as I'm concerned my uncle was right in his advice to me 30 years ago that you should never trust someone else with your money.
I've even had the Chairman make statements that I relied on and bought more shares instead of selling out some time ago, which turned out to be bullsh!t and he's now starting up his own company with our money. I wish I could go in and see if these guys had real business cases and detailed analysis for some of the strategic changes in direction on the commercialisation of CRUX.
Again, thank you for getting us this far and the amount of publicity you generated. For me I now tell people to stay away from the sharemarket. To me, it's nothing more than gambling if you're not prepared to constantly keep on top of the company, management and sectors and cycles.
I also think one major issue is that the quality of management I see in the companies I have worked for are only interested in managing upwards and don't understand the detail. Maybe I've been lucky to have worked for some amazing managers with exceptional people skills (both up and down) and great mentors. Today, I look at these clowns and think god help the younger generation!!!
That's my monthly rant over. Have a great Xmas and thanks again for trying on our behalf to get some justice.
Regards,
Rob
