Not true, ViVotech are just the largest in the US. The main provider in Europe is a company called OTI, based in Israel. Also Ingenico and VeriFone are producing their own contactless devices (integrated to their PIN pads). There is a Malaysian company (GHD?) who is also in the field.
NFC should fly although we are a little bit away from any meaningful use of it apart from another form factor for contactless payment. Pairing of devices looks pretty good too (easier than bluetooth) but NFC has a lower transmission speed than bluetooth and a lower distance (<20cm).
Keycorp's role in NFC - to be honest I don't see a great role. If you want exposure to NFC jump on some of the other players (ie the ones mentioned above). VeriFone - PAY - is a much better buy as it is fairly cheap at the moment due to bad accounting (I know, always a bad sign)
