I still game a bit on PC and PS4 but haven't jumped into crypto games for pretty much that reason. The other reason being having to buy crypto currency and setup a wallet (If you could just use cash it would be easier)

I think the longer term game plan is that these games are already making substantial amounts of money and eventually the companies will be able to fund something better that uses the same blockchain NFTS/Tokens

Hopefully we start to see some higher quality games soon
