Dapper must be the leading candidates, but the company that finalises a deal with the English Premier League, Uefa Champions League or Fifa for football (soccer) video highlights will take NFTs to the next level. Uefa have been slow not to recognise the opportunity, as Euro 2020 was an ideal platform.

Animoca's deal with the Olympics to issue NFT pins is excellent, but owning a unique sporting moment seems to be the future. I think that there'll always be a place for 2D (or even 3D) digital collectibles, but there's something special about owning the moment.

With a partnership and licensing deal already in place, I wouldn't bet against Animoca securing the rights to mint Olympic Moments.
