the MS mine is a dyke based structure with fairly thick quartz reefs within the dyke but Hill End is a typical Lachlan synclinorium structure of surface eroded and geologically disturbed synclines and anticlines containing very rich and very narrow reefs which might be better called veins
so they are not geologically similar except that they are both high quality gold-bearing quartz mineralisations
I also believe that HEG accidentally stumbled upon the best method of processing gold-bearing quartz with hammer mills early in the crushing process and the introduction of recycling through a ball mill late in the process
these are only my theories, so geos out there go easy on me too
