Yesterdays brief to fund managers was as a result of an invitation by Goldman Sachs JB Were to participate at a 'round table' discussion on the future of Oil and Gas plays in PNG.
New Guinea Energy, Interoil and Horizon were the 3 ozzie players invited to attend and present
To be invited to this event is in itself very positive imo and indicative of the fact that NGE is recognised as a company poised to benefit from global interest in the region.
I think the presentation clearly outlined the strength of NGE's asset base and its strategy for commercialisation going forward.
Its been a long wait for shareholders but success is now within our grasp, with a binding farmin with a major international O&G player due to be signed before the end of August and the first well scheduled to be drilled before Xmas
