rifici, I disagree as if you look at the market cap at the moment even at say 2cents a share kmc would only be valued at about 25 mill, surely the gold in the ground would be worth more than that which would be a significant premium to the current price , admittedly those who paid more than that would still lose out, plus the fact the board is bound by law to get the best result for all shareholders,
however having said that we don't know what the outcome will be until the info is released

I do understand where you are coming from as I have seen in the past deals done at what seemed a rather low premium!
