I can't see Acland 3 being approved. The forces behind the local objector are large, well funded and ready for a legal fight both in the Queensland Land Court and in the Supreme Court and if necessary back to the High Court of Australia. This new legal battle could again go for years , hopefully not another 14 years.
As I mentioned before, this legal team will reagitate their objections but add an added overlay of First Nation claims.
