I'm a passive holder in NHC and definitely appreciate 4744's posts. Although NHC is a coal co it appears to have serious port infrastructure,some cows etc. With its cash generation and constant talk of diversifying the business i'm wondering what they mean by diversification as in developing current sectors like agriculture,rail ,ports etc. They appear to be in a position where they could make strong acquisitions.? It appears to me management at the very least is reasonable. Maybe i'm incorrect but didn.t they sell an asset recently at what can only be regarded as peak pricing compared to bhp or rio that buy when the sector is hot and sell when sector is cold ,combined losses well over $100b. Just thought it would be interesting if anyone had any thoughts on NHC diversification plans.?
