Well it seems the more informed coal posters have gone on holiday. So i'll post the folllowing with a warning 'fact check' every word. Hmm am I correct newcastle coal currently USD $140,sounds still reasonable to me. Up until april 2023 no exports to china,at one stage china imported 70 to 90 MT's.what ever. Up until april 2023 Japan,Korea,India,EU accounted for approx 90 MT's So China has restarted Australian imports with no tarriffs due to the grade quality of our coal and apparently the Chinese govt whispers into the ears for lge coal importers to start buying Australian coal. ,other less quality coal will still have tariffs. China combined has 200 new coal power plants some built,under construction or planned.1300 in total with apparently the govt concerned about grade quality. Above is my summary which is posted with a high level of ignorance which is what happens when the more informed go on holidays. Quarterly report should show the start of growth in china coal imports. Hmm supply /demand should ? start to be reflected in coal price ?,combined with increased volume from NA3? Above is my reasoning for holding NHCplus the many developing issues with the roll out of battery technology imo only. No nasty replies i normally would make such a post but for the lazy more informed posters lack of posts. ps all know the NHC cash position,the soul patterson chairman by memory was more than happy with $200 per ton.Wieghing up above i'm still holding,if i was more informed probably buying but happy to hold.
