China has burned coal to produce steel to build hundreds of massive ghosts cities, entirely empty and entirely unused. Why? Purely to provide for “investment,” vehicles for the Chinese people as their investment opportunities are limited. What kind of CO2 emissions do you think may have been emitted in doing this? I lived in China for three years, there are plenty of gas guzzlers being driven around, so you can retract your BS comment regarding that and there is food and resource waste you can not possibly begin to imagine. So, get your head out of your backside, China is burning coal to develop and enrich themselves, just the same as everyone else using coal fired power stations. They are not helping any green transition, regardless of the solar panels they produce, and this whole idiotic pipe dream of CO2 being a major driver of climate change is absolute BS, as is your entire hypothesis. So again, pull your head out of your backside, smell the coffee and wake up. There is no realistic green transition, massive harm is being inflicted by trying to force this before the technology exists to do so which, if and when it happens, will do so organically when the technology and cost of doing so induce the market.
