    Wonder if there is synergy here.

    Massive coal sites run by NHC likely to have ready to use CBM/CSG that may or may not be viable to pump into grid but could fuel their local coal liquefaction plants (once they have DTE's skills to do so); then export the more valuable liquids.

    Either way, someones going to be happy to pay a lot more 100m for dte's assets and IP alone.
