With coal , I found it hard to get accurate data. Port of Newcastle provides shipping data like name of ship , destination, tonnage etc. It does say what wharf a ship is berthed at, but I don't know if each coal exporter has their own loading area or whether it is pot luck. What I know is that on average about 44 bulk coal carriers leave Newcastle every week. That is about 4.4 Million tonnes per week. That is about 19.1 million tonnes per month. New Hope seems to ship about 700,000 tonnes per month. ( 80% of Bengalla mines output). The NHC shipments are about 3.6% of coal exports from Newcastle. So long as total ex Newcastle coal shipments are running unchanged , I have assume that NHC is a small part of that activity. So for August and September 2022 , I would guess that NHC shipped 1,400,000 tonnes @ US 400 per tonne. That should equate to say USD 560,000,000. For Port of Newcastle it means some USD 15.3 Billion in export earnings for August September 2022
