The last time I looked, USA's thermal coal exports represented about 5% of the worlds total thermal coal exports. If about one quarter of USA's total coal exports pass through Baltimore, it perhaps means that the bridge collapse may represent a slowdown of about 1% of total coal exports.
My best guess is that, with all the elements that come together to form the world thermal coal price, the Baltimore incident may not move the needle too much as far as NHC shareholders go.
