NIA have released the following;

"Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.2, the Company requests the voluntary suspension of its shares pending the release of an announcement in relation to ongoing negotiations regarding the Mt Windarra Nickel Assets from WMC Resources Limited on or before Tuesday 1st February 2005"

Stating the obvious this is BIG! Anyone who buys from WMC does well - REM, IGO, MCR, SRL, TRY etc etc etc.... This is a company making deal on one of Australia's most iconic assets and no dobt will get massive media coverage due to WMC current take-over war. Mt Windarra for those that don't know is the same mine which sent Poseidon Limited to $278 per share from 20c -yes thats not a misprint $278 per share!
