Sorry, you got the information from the CaixinGlobal article. That is still speculation though, and as you say there is NIC's mine to figure in.
Circumstance is different for Tsingshan now and they have only their current circumstances to negotiate from. I see this possible development as possibly positive for NIC, the profits will still roll in, and dividends will be paid. Tsingshan's interest in NIC's progress will be more concentrated.
