    i would be amazed if he used this loan exclusively to buy more LYC shares.


    If he actually did this I would be mortgaging my house on that news.

    Far more likely he would be using this against a new venture/direction.

    As someone pointed out, if these holdings are in his DIY SMSF then there are a couple of important points.


    He can not use the loan against any personal use assets... it must be focused on his SMSF and it's best interest.

    Most SMSF do not allow you to put too great a % of your money into one company... that may breach one of the core requirements of SMSF (to preserve funds against loss)... since having all of your eggs in one basket puts you in this position it seems likely that he would go down this path (assuming he does not have another 30-40 mill in his SMSF).


    as I said, if he was willing to go out on a limb by even putting, say, half of this loan towards more LYC shares... I would jump in boots and all (well, I would borrow boots from my family as mine are already in LYC).


    Regards, NC not selling (dumping) his shares at this level is a good sign... there is one caveat, but I will keep this to myself as it is somewhat of a long shot.
