BQT awarded major airport upgrade by tier 1 integrator
BQT is pleased to announce that it has been selected to supply at least 1,140 PIN plus smart card style Mifare readers to
a prominent tier 1 integrator for deployment in a major regional American Airport. Orders to supply the first 600 readers for
this project have been received, and we expect to fulfil our complete supply commitment before the end of October 2008.
The BQT readers comply with the USA’s Transportation Security Administration’s TWIC (Transportation Worker
Identification Credential) program.
Anastasios Angeloglou, BQT’s CEO commented on this contract award “This tender win is significant for BQT as we make
further inroads into the well established, United States security market. The fact that we’ve been chosen for this particular
