i also like coffeys, know quite a bit about them but not from trading perspective....
the only trouble some of these groups have is that the EBITA can be hit hard because they are largely selling labour and when a few projects go awry, the fixed cost to the business remains largely static (i.e. salaries) and can mean undulating returns..
think they have a great business model, getting rid of water studies not such a smart thing, but just not sure how to accurately predict the future income with any great certainty...
guess the continued acquisition cycle will address this problem and provide greater recurrent income streams to at least cover the large, very large fixed cost base...
just my opinion mate..
